Some business networking events can be a snooze fest while others pressure you into referring a minimum number of people - even when it’s not authentic.
I’ve had my fair share of all of those. I’ve gathered my top organizations who have had consistently amazing events in Columbus, Ohio.
The Diva Movement
This one has been a fave since before I even left corporate! The welcome you with a hug, bring you into their circle and make you feel at home. Topics include a range from self-love to growing your Facebook following. Check them out here. The Diva Movement is expanding to areas surrounding Columbus, Ohio - including Dayton and Cincinnati.
Haven Collective
Want a community feel without a big crowd? Haven Collective, a Columbus, Ohio co-working space, offers just that with their events. But wait, there’s more! Their events are fun, inviting and usually have wine. From improv to finance, check out Haven. Events are typically hosted in their BEAUTIFUL locations - currently on Riverside Drive and Broad Street.
Tri-Village Chamber
This one is open to both men and women business owners. They host luncheons every month, morning events, lunch and learns and evening happy hours - a little bit of casual and always with great connections. NAWBO Columbus
This group hosts events for women business owners ranging from communicating effectively to interviews with women who are at the top of their game. The latest one I went to was a luncheon with Lori Kaiser. There were so many nuggets of wisdom from her and everyone, from a startup to growth mode took something away. They have morning events and evening happy hours. Events are held all over Columbus Ohio. Bonus: if you become a member, make sure to join a peer circle. It’s the best thing to grow your business!
